This is one of my favorite restaurants, not just in Madison. It’s very cozy, staff is very nice, and the food is incredible. Have been there twice now, and the varying specials have been delicious both times (as well as the items we’ve had from the normal menu). The food is much more interesting than typical Italian fare and every bite was superb, and for a very reasonable price. With glasses of wine, an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert, the bill was only $100. Can’t recommend more highly!

This place is cozy and situated right by the Capital. I could see parking being an issue sometimes. The service was great and i would recommend a reservation and not chancing a walk in. Bar isnt too big nor is the dining room so the chef can focus on the patrons in house. The food delivered on a cold day. It was hot and cooked perfectly. The menu constantly changes but if you get a crack at a short rib, take it. Was deliciously flavored as well. Save some room the butterscotch pudding is way worth skipping a few last bites if your getting full.

Decided to take myself out to dinner. Had a great time with my server being very attentive to explaining the menu more in depth. Food was very delicious and the lamb tortellini was so good I actually took another order to go. Please check it out if yournin Madison, WI. You won't be disappointed

A truly wonderful experience and lovely attentive, knowledgeable staff. The food tonight was extraordinary 🤤as always when I dine, alone or with guests, I like to enjoy multiple dishes. If you're interested in being at a small local Italian restaurant that focuses on quality ingredients and it's diners experience, this is the place. Most memorable moment, outside of the food, was watching a woman dine alone in absolute comfort and joy. She was obviously a regular and discovered this jewel where she can simply be in the moment. Salud🍷🌹 Oh! After a stroll around downtown Madison, my guest and I returned for a cappuccino and cookies. Delicious!

Overrated and overpriced. The fried shrimp included the head and we're not deveined. The noodle dish was undercooked and was not spicy although advertised as spicy. Seating was cramped and the Ambiance is quite noisy. Service was good, and so were the desserts.

I had the cinghiale and it was spectacular. Unfortunately, the three (vegetarian) pasta dishes my girlfriend wanted to order ran out by 7:30. The kitchen was flexible in preparing something (vegetarian) that wasn’t on the menu which also ended up being spectacular. So while the food was great, the fact that the restaurant ran out of three dishes during peak hours is somewhat inexcusable for a restaurant of this caliber (despite accomodations having been made) hence the four star review.

Wait.... what? This wasn't Tuscany? Best authentic and traditional Italian we've had in Madison. From antipasti through il dolce, you won't be disappointed. This is a special place.

Loved the atmosphere and staff. Brooke, our server, was great. We had the seafood trio and burrata as appetizers. Bread was excellent. Ordered wild boar ragout (great! Beef-stew flavor), calzone (wow) and Gramigna with Italian ham. Very good!
